In the Donetsk region, the Internet from the telecommunications company “Ukrtelecom” is available in 55% of the settlements where there is an operator’s network.
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
“In the Donetsk region, specialists are doing everything possible to keep in touch for subscribers of a number of settlements in conditions of emergency shutdowns … Currently, the Internet is available in 55% of the settlements of the region connected to Ukrtelecom’s networks,” the report says.
The company also completed the restoration of the telecommunications infrastructure damaged during the occupation by Russian troops in the Kyiv region.
According to the report, the operator provides services to subscribers in 86% of the settlements where it has networks, in all regions except Lugansk.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, in the Kherson region, Internet from Ukrtelecom is available in 82% of settlements.
JSC “Ukrtelecom” is one of the largest telecommunications companies in Ukraine.
