After some financial problems a few years ago, LeEco has not released a single smartphone either under the LeEco brand or under the LeTV brand. Everything changed with the release of LeTV Y1 Pro.
The LeTV Y1 Pro looks almost exactly like the iPhone 13 in terms of design. It has a 6.54-inch HD+ LCD screen (720 x 1560 pixels) and a recognizable notch that houses a 5-megapixel front camera. The weight of the device is 208 g, and the dimensions are 164.3 x 77.7 x 9.5 mm. There is no fingerprint scanner on board, but face unlock is available.
The Unisoc T310 chipset is responsible for the performance of the novelty, which has 1 ARM Cortex-A75 core with a clock frequency of 2 GHz and 3 ARM Cortex-A55 cores with a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz. It only supports 4G networks and is paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the back of the LeTV Y1 Pro is an iPhone 13-style block. It includes an LED flash and two cameras – an 8-megapixel main and an additional AI lens, presumably a depth sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 4000 mAh battery, which is charged via a USB-C port.
The LeTV Y1 Pro is available in Star White, Midnight Black and Star Blue. The entry-level 4/32GB model is 499 Yuan (~$75), the 4/128GB variant is 699 Yuan ($105), and the 4/256GB version is priced at 899 Yuan ($135). The smartphone will currently only be available for purchase in the Chinese market.
