President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed that it is important for Ukraine that global brands and companies leave the Russian market and come to our country.
He said this during an online conversation at the Ukrainian House in Davos in the Q&A format, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today, when we are preparing the restoration of our country after the victory – this will definitely happen, the war will end – it is very important for us that global companies, global brands leave the Russian market and come to us,” Zelensky said.
He stressed that this is the greatest assistance that representatives of big business can provide to Ukraine.
“It will be, firstly, employment. Secondly, such brands should be in a developed country, and this is exactly what we are building, and thirdly, something bad, I think, for what Russia has done, you should also do to them. It seems to me that this is fair,” Zelensky said.
On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying key infrastructure facilities, conducting massive shelling of residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, air bombs and ballistic missiles.
