Hollywood actress Jodie Foster will star in the fourth season of HBO’s True Detective. This was reported on May 26 by The Hollywood Reporter.
It is noted that Foster will also act as an executive producer of the continuation of the anthology, along with Barry Jenkins (“Moonlight”).
The actress will play Detective Liz Danvers, who, along with her partner, will participate in the search for missing employees of a research station in Alaska.
The fourth season of True Detective was subtitled Night Country. The release date is still unknown.
On May 5, a teaser trailer for the series House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, was released on the HBO Max YouTube channel. The start of the show is scheduled for August 21. The first season will consist of 10 episodes. Starring Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke.
The action of the series takes place two centuries before the events of the “Game of Thrones” and tells about the civil war between the Targaryens. The script is based on the book “Fire and Blood” by American writer George Martin.
