Brazil prepares the judicial system to increase the number of court cases related to digital assets. For this purpose, Brazilian judges will be trained in working with cryptocurrencies.
Last week, the Brazilian Justice Ministry organized a meeting at which federal judges were ordered to pay more attention to offenses related to the cryptocurrency market. In this regard, judges will have to expand their knowledge base in the field of virtual assets and undergo special training.
Note that in Brazil there are no standards for digital assets. This means that legal decisions in the form of legal precedent will become key.
According to the Ministry of Justice, in recent years, cryptocurrency trade has increased sharply in the country and, accordingly, the number of cryptocurrencies has increased. About ten million Brazilians have digital assets in the country.
Recall that from the end of May in Brazil it became possible to buy real estate for bitcoins.
