Paris is hosting the second Grand Slam tennis tournament of the season – the French Open (Roland Garros).
On the third game day, the second and third “rackets” of Ukraine Angelina Kalinina and Marta Kostyuk will play their opening matches, Ukrinform reports.
Kalinina will meet with American Hayley Baptist, who made it to the main draw of the competition through qualification.
Kostyuk, in turn, will face Mayar Sherif from Egypt.
Ukrainian women are also declared in doubles: Kalinina will perform in tandem with Belinda Bencic from Switzerland, Kostyuk – with Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse.

As Ukrinform reported, Lesya Tsurenko and Dayana Yastremska ended their performance at Roland Garros ahead of schedule, losing their first round matches.

The total prize fund of the competition is 43.6 million euros.
The French Open will run through June 5th.
