Jurgen Klopp talks about Erling Haaland’s move to Manchester City
Jurgen Klopp has decided who will play in Liverpool’s defensive midfield while Fabinho is fighting back from injury.
Fabinho was forced off Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa with a hamstring problem, which ruled him out of Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea and Premier League ties against Southampton and Wolves. And that means Klopp will play Jordan Henderson in the holding midfield role that Fabinho made his own at Anfield when he gave an update on whether the Brazilian will be fit for the Champions League final.
It comes as Thiago Alcantara sent Chelsea a warning ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup final as he said the Reds were “ready” for Wembley. And Kevin De Bruyne has sent a classy title message to Liverpool as the Reds battle Manchester City to win the Premier League.

Fabinho replacement revealed
Jordan Henderson is expected to take over Fabinho’s defensive midfield for Liverpool’s next three games following the Brazilian’s injury.
Fabinho limped out of Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa with an injury that has ruled him out for the FA Cup final as well as the remaining Premier League games against Southampton and Wolves.
But Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said there was a “good chance” the Brazilian would be fit enough to face Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Paris on May 28.
The Reds are ready for the FA Cup
Thiago Alcantara insists Liverpool are “ready” for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea as he sent the Blues a warning ahead of the crucial tie.
Liverpool come into the game with faint hopes of yet another historic quadruple this season, although they still lag behind Manchester City in the league. And given the opportunity to lift another trophy on Saturday, Thiago said the Reds side are looking forward to it.

Cover message from De Bruyne
Manchester City hero Kevin De Bruyne says the standards his side and Liverpool have set this season are “insane”.
The Belgium international scored four goals as City beat Wolves 5-1 in Molineux on Wednesday night. That win helped City reclaim first place in the Premier League title race after Liverpool took the lead after beating Aston Villa 2-1 the night before.
And De Bruyne says he has “ultimate respect” for the Reds and says both his team and Liverpool are “playing hard”.
