The Lyatoshinsky Trio, together with opera singer Victoria Lukyanets, are going on a concert tour of European cities to support Ukraine on the cultural front.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, which provides information support to the tour.
“The main goal of the tour is to raise funds for the psychological and material support of children who have become victims of violence by the Russian occupiers,” the message says.
The musicians emphasize that they are trying to draw the attention of all those who are not indifferent to this tragedy, as well as those on whom the search and punishment of the perpetrators depends.
At the same time, through the music and works of Ukrainian composers, the Lyatoshinsky Trio, together with Victoria Lukyanets, will spread knowledge about Ukrainian art and traditions on the leading European music scenes.
The first concerts of the “Lyatoshinsky Trio” with Victoria Lukyanets will take place next week in Austria: on May 29 in Feimtritz-Am-Vexel, and on May 31 in Vienna. The program includes works by J.S. Bach, F. Schubert, I. Kirilina, P. Mascagni, B. Lyatoshinsky, M. Skorik, V. Sylvestrov.
In Graz on June 6, a benefit concert “Lyatoshinsky Trio” will take place, during which works by B. Lyatoshinsky, E. Stankovich, V. Silvestrov, G. Shedlberger, Ming-Wang will be performed.
On June 7, a concert will be held in Vienna with the support of the Austrian Society for Contemporary Music. The program includes works by A. Schoenberg, E. Stankovich, V. Silvestrov, G. Shedlberger, Ming-Wang.
On June 19 in Prague, musicians will perform works by A. Dvorak, B. Lyatoshinsky, V. Silvestrov.
