The Netflix streaming service has finally left the Russian market – neither the website nor the application is available in Russia.
This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko in the Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Netflix has finally left the Russian market. Now neither the site nor the application is available in Russia. Great news that we have all been waiting for, ”Tkachenko wrote.
He thanked the company for its solidarity with Ukraine and for its support.
“I hope that after the victory we will be able to expand our cooperation,” said the head of the ICIP.
At the same time, the Minister called on those companies that have not yet left Russia to do so as soon as possible and not to sponsor the aggressor country.
As Ukrinform reported, earlier the Netflix application became unavailable to Russians on Google Play and the App Store.
