Previously, TV series and movies could be watched from the Russian Federation, using VPN only to register and replenish the account.

Now the service gives an error in both applications and web versions. The text “Not available” is displayed on the main page of the site. This may indicate that the company has begun blocking IP users from Russia.

The publication notes that since March, Russian users have not been able to register new Netflix accounts or top up their accounts, but could still watch dubbed and subtitled content. It was possible to register on the site and replenish accounts only with the help of VPN.
