Reinforcement for the team. The Belgian champion prepares for the match in Glasgow

The national team of Ukraine is completing preparations for the June 2022 World Cup and Nations League play-offs

On Saturday, May 28, Brugge defender Eduard Sobol joined the Ukrainian national team, the UAF website reports. The arrival of the Belgian champion was delayed for several days due to the issuance of a British visa for the football player.

“I’m very glad that I finally made it to the national team. I met the guys with great joy – I missed them very much! I’m just happy to be here again!

There is no time to get involved in the process, so I am ready to immediately join the training. All the guys, I see, are in a good mood and in good condition, so the desire to show themselves is off the charts,” Sobol said.

Now, in the clip of the coaching staff of Alexander Petrakov, almost all the players called up for the June matches. The only thing missing is Real Madrid goalkeeper Andrey Lunin, who won the Champions League with his club yesterday.

Good news came from the team’s infirmary. Dynamo midfielder Nikolay Shaparenko started training in the main group.

In the near future defender Denis Popov, who worked on an individual program, will start teamwork.

Earlier, Andriy Pyatov spoke about the preparations for the 2022 World Cup play-off match. The players had a two-way sparring, simulating a game against Scotland.

Recall that the semi-final match of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1 in Glasgow at the Hampden Park stadium (21.45). The winner of this confrontation will play against Wales for a ticket to the 2022 World Cup.
