“Today, Air Moldova has all the permissions of the Federal Air Transport Agency to start operating flights to / from Moscow,” the RIA Novosti agency said.
According to the source of the agency, flights between Moscow and Chisinau will most likely go through Poland and Belarus, bypassing Ukraine.
Earlier in the day, Air Moldova announced that it was resuming direct flights between Moscow and Chisinau from 1 October. The airspace between the capitals was closed in February.
On the eve of the Russian airline Aeroflot announced the resumption of flights to Thailand and the United Arab Emirates in the winter schedule. On August 17, the company also announced the resumption of flights to the Seychelles.
In July, it became known that at the end of October, Aeroflot would launch direct regular flights from Moscow to India and the Maldives. It was reported that the sale of tickets for direct flights to Thailand caused a stir among tourists.
