Samsung is developing a flagship Exynos 2300 processor codenamed “Quadra”, according to Gizchina. According to the latest leaks, this will be the first mobile chipset made using the 3nm process technology.
The Exynos 2300 is expected to use the latest ARM cores and a new AMD-based GPU. The first devices based on the new platform will be the Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones, which will debut in the first half of 2023.
Information about which regions will receive Exynos models, and in which the version with chips from Qualcomm will go on sale, has not yet been reported.
The current chip, the Exynos 2200 found in the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones, was codenamed Pamir. The Exynos 2200 features the powerful Samsung Xclipse GPU based on the AMD RDNA 2 architecture.
