Samsung’s US division is launching a new Discord server to cover its activities and advice on Web3. Thus, the technology giant will join many crypto projects that use Discord.
Technology giant Samsung said Tuesday that its US Arm is launching a new Discord server to support its Web3 activities – joining the ranks of many crypto projects that use chat clients for this purpose.
“The Samsung US Discord Server is specifically designed as a fun, interactive way for fans, gamers and creators to have exclusive access to products, events, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and other web3-based wonders.” Said in a statement.
According to the company, their server was launched specifically as a fun and interactive medium for interacting between “brand Laurel”, gamers and content creators. Samsung US Discord will “provide exclusive access to Web 3-based products, events, non-replaceable tokens (NFT) and other wonders.” This morning, the new Discord server had more than 100 members.
Clearly, Samsung did not say that Discord Servers are constantly hacked into cryptocurrency related companies. Recently, the popular NFT project Bored Apes has been hacked (and this is not the first time!) Therefore, the BAYC team has decided that Discord Web3 is not suitable for the project – they do not put user safety first.
