In the Zaporozhye region, the coat of arms of the times of the Russian Empire was returned. This was announced on May 25 by a member of the main council of the military-civilian administration of the region, Vladimir Rogov.
During the time of complete control over the entire territory of the region of the Kyiv regime, there was an attempt to replace the coat of arms, and instead of rifles, Russian soldiers began to use muskets, Rogov specified.
“We returned the rifles, returned everything that was in the days of the Russian Empire. We confidently look to the future without abandoning the past, ”RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
He noted that at present the coat of arms of Zaporozhye (before 1921 Aleksandrovsk) has returned to the region, which looks like a shield divided into a green and crimson field, two guns with bayonets are depicted in green, and a black bow with three arrows aimed at down.
The official said that stickers of the coat of arms of Zaporozhye of 1811 appeared on the license plates of cars in the region over the flag of Ukraine, and instead of the signature UA (Ukraine) – TVR (Tavricheskaya province, which was part of the Russian Empire).
Earlier that day, it was reported that the authorities of the Zaporozhye region intend to take a course towards joining the region into Russia as a full-fledged subject – the Zaporozhye Republic – after the territory is completely liberated from Ukrainian nationalists. Vladimir Rogov noted that today two-thirds of the region has been liberated from Ukrainian nationalists, while the regional center continues to be under the control of the Kyiv regime.
In the liberated part of the Zaporozhye region, a dual-currency zone began to operate, where you can pay in hryvnias and rubles. A representative of the regional administration specified that the International Settlement Bank had entered the region.
On May 24, it became known that in the city of Melitopol, liberated from Ukrainian nationalists in mid-March, located in the south of the Zaporozhye region of Ukraine, the flag of the Russian Federation was raised.
At the same time, Aleksey Selivanov, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Zaporozhye region, said the day before that attempts at terrorist attacks were recorded in the region on an ongoing basis, but they were managed to be prevented. According to him, Ukrainian militants do not like the picture of well-being in the liberated territories of the region, so they are trying to raise all their groups, give them weapons and demand that they commit terrorist acts.
On May 18, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin announced that Russia would restore facilities in the liberated territories of Ukraine. At the same time, he stressed that he was not ready to talk about specific assessments of the situation, but assured that decisions on financing from the Russian side had been made.
In addition, Khusnullin made a statement that residents of the Zaporozhye region will be paid pensions and salaries in rubles this month. In addition, in the region, according to him, support will be provided in the development of agricultural production, industry, the region will not remain “in the shadows.”
On May 7, it became known that the Zaporozhye region, along with the Kherson region, would be connected to the Crimea by rail passenger traffic. The head of the peninsula, Sergei Aksenov, assured that a calm, normal, human life will begin in the designated regions.
