“In the settlement of Kamyshevakh, we now, one might say, control the entire village, we have already taken 65–70%,” he said.

“The sixth Cossack regiment is working with us, and we will slowly clear our entire rear of mines and withdraw the remaining civilians from there, and after that the assault will begin,” Chalaev said.
He stressed that there are about 100 civilians in the village.
In addition, as the regiment commander specified, the administration, the station and the school are under the control of Russian military personnel.
Earlier that day, the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the city of Severodonetsk in the LPR had been taken under control by Russian volunteers from Chechnya.

According to the war correspondent of the TV channel “Izvestia” Denis Kulaga, intelligence recorded an exact hit on the warehouse. As a result of a successful breakthrough, the main channel for the supply of weapons and logistics for the enemy grouping in Lisichansk and Severodonetsk is blocked.
On May 21, it became known that a Chechen regiment was clearing the territory of the village of Kamyshevakha in the LPR from Ukrainian militants. According to the deputy commander of the special regiment, Mezhyd Utsmigov, Ukrainians use the same tactics in Kamyshevakh as in Mariupol: they occupy the upper floors while civilians sit in the basements.
