Russian propaganda spreads fake information about Ukraine’s decision to disconnect the captured Zaporizhia and Kherson regions from Ukrainian mobile operators and Internet providers.
According to Ukrinform, the Center for Combating Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council announced this in a Telegram.
Propagandists emphasize that this is information from a “reliable source from Bankova.” The reason, according to the Russians, is the “truth” that people in the occupation began to tell their relatives and friends about “good Russian soldiers” who do not kill and rob, but help people. The JRS warns that this is misinformation.
The JRS states that disconnecting Ukrainians from mobile operators and Internet providers is part of the occupation’s efforts to infiltrate Russian propaganda into the Ukrainian media space. Shutdings are carried out only by Russian invaders.
“Ukraine is making every effort to ensure that Ukrainian radio and television broadcasting operate in every city, even the occupied ones,” the JRS said.
