Mikel Arteta has warned his players not to miss qualifying for next season’s Champions League as Paulo Dybala and Ruben Neves both appeared to be saying goodbye to their clubs

Two Arsenal targets appear to have said goodbye to their clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.

Juventus striker Paulo Dybala shared an emotional statement as he said goodbye to Italian giants Juventus. The Argentinian striker’s agent was reportedly in London last week to discuss a possible move with Premier League clubs before his contract expires at the end of the season and has been widely recommended to join Arsenal if they sign up for qualify for the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves broke down in tears at his side’s last home game of the season. Reports have suggested Mikel Arteta could target the Portugal international to bolster his ranks in midfield. And the Arsenal boss has warned his players not to squander their chance for a place in the Premier League’s top four ahead of the game against Newcastle.

Dybala’s emotional farewell

Arsenal target Paulo Dybala has given a heartbreaking farewell to Italian giants Juventus ahead of a summer transfer.

The Argentina international is set to move on this summer when his contract expires and reports have linked him with a move to Arsenal. And the forward has taken the time to thank Juventus fans, staff and his team-mates for his time at the Italian giants.

He described playing for the club as “one of the greatest prides of my life” and although he thought he would play for Juventus for years, “destiny takes us down different paths”.

Neves in tears

Ruben Neves broke down in tears after the final whistle after the 1-1 draw with the already relegated Norwich City.

The Portugal midfielder is expected to leave the Molineux side in the summer and appeared to offer an emotional farewell to fans as he took part in a round of appreciation at the club’s last home game of the season. It happened despite the fact that the home fans passionately chanted “don’t sell Neves” to the club’s hierarchy during the game.

But the midfielder appears to have bid farewell to the club’s supporters amid reports he could join Arsenal this summer.

Arteta’s warning

Mikel Arteta has warned his players not to miss a chance to qualify for next season’s Champions League – although he would have liked to have finished fifth in the Premier League at the start of the season.

Arsenal are now two points behind Tottenham Hotspur after beating Burnley 1-0 on Sunday. But Arteta’s side have a game on their hands ahead of their game against Newcastle United on Monday night.

The Gunners come into the game knowing they need to win to take control of the situation. Arteta says it’s “in our hands and we want to deliver”.
