US President Joe Biden discussed the Russian-Ukrainian war with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Tokyo, Japan.
According to Ukrinform, this is stated in a press release published on the website of the White House.
“The leaders (USA and India – ed.) committed to continue providing humanitarian assistance (to Ukraine – ed.) and discussed how to cooperate to overcome the problems caused by the (Russian-Ukrainian – ed.) war, in particular, rising energy and food prices nutrition to protect its citizens and the world,” the press release reads.
It is noted that President Biden, during a conversation with Prime Minister Modi, condemned Russia’s unjustified war against Ukraine.
Yesterday, US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida held a bilateral meeting during which they condemned Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and expressed solidarity with the Ukrainian people.
As reported, a full-scale Russian military invasion has been ongoing in Ukraine since February 24. The Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Territorial Defense Forces courageously rebuff the Russian invaders and inflict huge losses on them. The US, EU and other countries have imposed and continue to impose sanctions against Russia.
