Ukraine has launched a Russian-language FREEDOM TV channel, the Odesa Regional Military Administration reports, citing the National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting.
As stated, the channel aims to create an information product designed for Russian-speaking audiences during the war, in particular for the Russian occupation forces.
The channel was launched with the support of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting, Media Group Ukraine, StarLightMedia, 1 + 1 media, InterMediaGroup Rada and State “Multimedia Platform of Foreign Broadcasting of Ukraine” launched a joint television project “FREEDOM”.
It is noted that the purpose of the project, which started on March 10 at 21.00 Kyiv time, is to create an information product designed for Russian-speaking audiences during the war, in particular for the Russian occupation forces.
The broadcast takes place on the state TV channel UATV 24/7, the program content of the channel will consist of original programs produced by media groups.
As called by the National Council, turn on the UATV channel on satellite, IPTV and YouTube, as well as the link Satellite broadcasting is available to viewers throughout Europe and the western part of the Russian Federation.
