British Prime Minister urged allies not to weaken their position in support of Ukraine

British Prime Minister Liz Truss urged allies to maintain strong support for Ukraine and not succumb to “saber-rattling” from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to European Pravda, this is reported by Reuters.

“I think he (Putin) underestimated the strength of the reaction of the free world … We should not listen to his saber-rattling and imaginary threats. What really needs to be done is to continue to impose sanctions on Russia and support Ukraine,” she told CNN on September 25 .

This week, Liz Truss met in New York for the first time with the Presidents of the United States and France in her capacity as British Prime Minister.

In her speech at a meeting of the UN General Assembly, she stressed that Putin’s nuclear blackmail would not work, and also called on democratic countries to show determination in confronting autocratic regimes.
