In Ukraine, they announced the prevention of a terrorist attack against the country’s leadership

The National Police of Ukraine prevented a terrorist attack against the country’s leadership. This was announced on Wednesday, June 15, by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Enin.

“I want to emphasize that the population is actively helping us. Largely thanks to the information received from our operational sources, we even managed to prevent a terrorist attack against the leadership of our state, ”the Ukrainian agency Ukrinform quotes him as saying.

He stressed that specific information about the prevention of the terrorist attack would be given later, and did not provide other details.

Enin also noted that over the past few months, about 800 people suspected of sabotage and reconnaissance activities have been detained and transferred to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU). In addition, 123 counter-sabotage groups have been created in the country.

On June 5, former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva said that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had stepped up his security guards out of fear of an assassination attempt. In addition, according to the ex-deputy, Zelensky is afraid of the liquidation by the special services of the allied countries, who began to talk about the failure and loss of Ukraine.

On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. Moscow explained that the tasks of the special operation include the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia. The decision was made against the backdrop of aggravation in the region as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
