Samsung Pass will soon be integrated into Samsung Pay

Samsung has decided to make an unexpected announcement and informed us that they are going to integrate Samsung Pass with all the features in Samsung Pay. Integration will begin in South Korea today and will gradually expand to other markets in the coming months. The new program will be responsible for saving all your credit cards, debit cards, passwords, digital keys, tickets, coupons, as well as membership cards and digital assets.

The new Samsung Pay update will be available on all devices compatible with Android 9 and above. Although Samsung Pay already stores user cards and other similar information, the new update will add more functionality in the form of digital keys for their cars and smart locks and can be shared with friends, family or participants.

Samsung Pay users will be able to lock and unlock all compatible car doors and even start the engine. In addition, the new program will allow users to view all of their digital assets, such as cryptocurrency. Samsung plans to add support for Bithumb, Coinone and Krobit.

Users can also save Samsung Pay travel tickets. Tickets for Jeju Air, Jin Air and Korean Air and other airlines will be available in the future. Also, the app can add movie tickets from companies like Megabox, Lotte Movies and Ticket Link. Users can control the security of all their digital assets through the Samsung Knox.
