The Center for Combating Disinformation published a selection of fakes from Russia for July 8

According to the version of the CPD at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, on July 8, the Russians launched three major deceptions.

Manipulation: V. Ganchev, a collaborator-“leader” of the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region, reported that “to ensure public order and state security, he signed a decree on the introduction of martial law in the [occupied] territories of the region.”

Disinformation: The head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, S. Lavrov, stated: “Russia is ready for negotiations with Ukrainian and Turkish colleagues regarding the [export of] Ukrainian grain, at the same time the West is trying to artificially block the supply of Russian grain to world food markets…”.

Fake: The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated: “on the instructions of Western curators, Kiev ordered punitive raids in Mykolaiv with the aim of public massacre of pro-Russian citizens. For this purpose, SBU employees and up to 500 fighters of the Tsunami National Guard, specially trained to carry out such raids, arrived in Mykolaiv actions of intimidation”.
