Long before the announcement of Samsung’s new proprietary Android shell, the first information appeared on the network about its difference from the current version. According to online sources, this year the South Korean brand will focus on the performance of the operating system.
According to SamMobile, Samsung plans to release One UI 5.0 firmware based on Android 13 in the coming months. It is reported that one of the main differences between the new version of the shell and the current revision will be a significantly increased speed of navigation through the system. Developers are also optimizing user interface animations – they will become smoother and faster.
Other details about the firmware are not yet known. The stable build of Samsung One UI 5.0 is rumored to be released in October this year, and beta testing could start as early as next month. The company itself has not yet made any statements about the upcoming release.
