The 30-year-old midfielder will be unavailable for Scotland head coach Stephen Clark in the upcoming match against Ukraine. The press service of the Scottish team does not report the reason for the absence of an experienced football player.
All that is said is that Jack will be replaced by 23-year-old midfielder Luton Town (a team from the English Championship) – Allan Campbell. On his account there is not a single match for the national team.
Note that Jack played 21 matches for the Rangers this season and helped the team reach the Europa League final, where the Scots lost to Eintracht in the penalty shootout.
Unlike Campbell, Jack has experience playing for the national team. The midfielder made 12 appearances, playing against Poland and Austria in the March friendly matches.
The 2022 World Cup qualifier between Scotland and Ukraine will take place on June 1 in Glasgow.
