In March, Samsung announced the Galaxy A13 along with the Galaxy A23. It is expected that in the near future the company will present a 5G version of this phone called Galaxy A13 5G.
According to the retail source GizPaw, the new version of the Galaxy A13 with model number SM-A137F will contain a Mediatek Helio G80 chip. The original Galaxy A13 with model number SM-A137F is equipped with an Exynos 850 processor.
This is not the first time Samsung has re-released a smartphone with a different chipset. The Galaxy A12, the predecessor to the Galaxy A13, also went through a similar process last year.
The original Galaxy A12 debuted with the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC. But later the South Korean technology giant introduced another version with the Exynos 850 chip.
In addition to changing the chipset, the two versions of the Galaxy A12 are identical. We expect the same from the Galaxy A13.
The new Galaxy A13 may be announced for the first time in Europe together with the Galaxy A13 5G. Unfortunately, there is no information yet on when this will happen.
