The results of testing the new Xiaomi 12S smartphone have appeared in the Geekbench benchmark. They revealed its key characteristics.

The model is equipped with an octa-core chipset, in which four cores run at 2.02 GHz, three cores – 2.75 GHz, and another – 3.19 Hz. This SoC configuration points to the recently announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, an improved version of Qualcomm’s top processor. The results of the smartphone are as follows: 1328 points in the single-core test and 4234 points in the multi-core test, respectively. This confirms the 10 percent increase in performance promised by Qualcomm.
Xiaomi 12S should be officially unveiled in China soon, and soon after that there will be a global release. The smartphone is expected to get a 6.67-inch screen, 50-megapixel camera and 67-watt charging.
