You can now follow the changes on the Earth’s surface live

Google launched Dynamic World service. It uses a combination of machine learning methods and satellite imagery to create high resolution maps. They show buildings, reservoirs, agricultural land, writes The Verge.

The technology classifies the type of cover for every 93 square meters. You can see water, flooded vegetation, trees, crops, bare ground, grass, snow. In total, more than 5,000 images are created daily.

The information allows you to monitor and better respond to fires or hurricanes.

Recall that earlier bigmir.net reported that Google Maps now shows air quality.
