200 girls from Ukraine can receive a scholarship from the Estonian IT school kood/Jõhvi, according to the Ministry of Digital Development. Highload retells the details.
What is known
In total, 200 girls from Ukraine can count on a scholarship and free accommodation while studying at an Estonian IT school.
Conditions for applying:
18+;
at least basic education;
knowledge of English.
The application process takes place in two stages.
A cognitive game at www.kood.tech that will test the candidate’s memory, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, programming knowledge is not required.
Based on the results of the cognitive game, the best will be invited to an intensive three-week Selection Sprint coding training camp.
Applications are accepted until June 12, 2022.
Earlier, free IT courses were launched for Ukrainian women with the support of Visa. The first training programs started for 56 women. They are launched in the following disciplines:
- Motion Design – 16 students;
- Mobile Apps Design – 29 students;
- IT Project Management – 20 students.
