The state system of electronic transportation documents will be launched in the Russian Federation from September 1 this year, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced today at a government meeting.
“All the necessary documents have been approved, and from September 1 this year, the state system of electronic transportation documents will be launched. Its use will enable market participants to abandon paperwork, simplify business processes and reduce costs. As a result, the speed of delivery of goods and cargo will increase, enterprises will be able to organize new supply chains,” Mishustin said. According to him, the system will allow carriers to increase the speed of movement of goods across the country, which is especially important in the current conditions.
The conversion of transportation documents into electronic form is one of the main tasks of the transport strategy until 2030, adopted by the government at the end of last year.
