The Motorola Moto G42 smartphone, which has not yet been announced, has been noted in the Geekbench database. Thanks to this, the key hardware specifications of the future novelty became known: the processor model, the amount of RAM and the version of the operating system.
Judging by the test results, Moto G42 will be built on the basis of a 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G processor. This chip is equipped with four performance cores with a clock frequency of 2.4 GHz and four energy-efficient (1.9 GHz). The gadget was tested in a modification with 4 GB of RAM, but the release of versions with a different amount of RAM is not excluded. Android 12 was used as the preinstalled operating system.
Earlier it became known that Moto G42 will receive an OLED display, a triple camera, a dual-band Wi-Fi module and support for contactless payments using NFC. Motorola Frontier, the world’s first smartphone with a 200-megapixel camera, is also expected to be announced soon. In addition, the company has confirmed the imminent release of the RAZR 3 clamshell with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
