The head of the DPR Denis Pushilin intends to come to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which will be held in June. On May 27, the politician spoke about his plans in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“Yes, there are plans to attend the St. Petersburg Economic Forum this year. While plans are being developed,” he said.
Earlier it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin will take part in the SPIEF plenary session. The Russian leader’s speech will be very informative, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
In addition, it is reported that Iran plans to send its delegation to SPIEF 2022.
In total, participation in the 25th anniversary St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) was confirmed by representatives of 69 countries.
The 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on June 15–18, 2022.
The forum will be attended by 500 Russian companies from more than 65 industries, with the IT sector taking the lead. Most of the companies will be represented at the level of heads.
Business representatives will formulate proposals on the effective transition to a sustainable economic development model, discuss forms of interaction between private business and defense industry enterprises, mechanisms for state incentives for large private companies and defense enterprises, as well as issues of developing the production of high-tech products.
