The superfinal of the fourth season of the Leaders of Russia competition for managers, the flagship project of the presidential platform Russia — the Land of Opportunities, has started in Moscow. 300 contestants from 56 regions of the country and six foreign countries reached the superfinal: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Estonia, France and the United Arab Emirates.
Sergei Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, spoke at the opening of the superfinal, which took place on May 26.

“More than 180 thousand talented managers from all over our vast country took part in the 4th season of the Leaders of Russia project. Today you are the best of the best in a variety of tracks and directions. Very worthy people took part in the competition. Before you are unique opportunities, you have a special responsibility. ‹…› Qualified management and leadership are today one of the key conditions for fulfilling the tasks of Russia’s breakthrough development,” he said during his speech.
Kiriyenko noted that the Leaders of Russia personnel selection project is an initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The competition allows to select the most talented managers in various industries.
The mentors of the competition, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, director of Rosatom Alexei Likhachev, artistic director of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater Konstantin Khabensky and others also spoke to the superfinalists.
The results of the superfinal and the names of the winners of the competition will be announced on May 29. All its participants will receive educational grants in the amount of 1 million rubles, and the winners will have the opportunity to work with the country’s leading managers. We are talking about the chairman and deputy prime ministers of the Russian government, the chairman of the Federation Council, the head and deputy head of the presidential administration, federal ministers, governors, as well as rectors of universities, heads of large companies and public organizations.
On May 22, exactly four years have passed since the signing by Russian President Vladimir Putin of the decree “On the establishment of the ANO “Russia is a Land of Opportunities”. The organization is developing a platform that brings together 26 projects, including the Leaders of Russia competition for managers, the All-Russian competition Big Break, the All-Russian Student Olympiad “I am a Professional” and much more.
